  13.  Bugs from DOOMLD3B.ZIP have mostly been squashed. Please report back if
  14.  you find any more bugs or would like any more options added.

  16.  Unzip this in your DOOM directory with the -o PKZIP option to overwrite
  17.  the old v3.0b files if you are upgrading and delete your DOOMLOAD.DAT file
  18.  if you are upgrading.

  20.  The Lowdown
  21.  -----------

  23.  DOOMLoad v3.0 is quite possibly one of the best DOOM Front ends around.
  24.  Fully mouse (or keyboard) driven interface gives you quick and easy access
  25.  to everything you might want to set up to get DOOM up and running.
  26.  
  27.  As previously, DOOMLoad v3.0 supports QuickNet (tm) for Novel Networks for
  28.  up to four players. One player configures the DOOM session, while the
  29.  other three sit back and wait for the quicknet packet.

  31.  Also implemented, is null modem serial link (for those corporate outbound
  32.  reps who sit in lobbies waiting for a meeting which is half an hour away)
  33.  support and WORKING modem support (Sorry, I had to do away with QuickModem
  34.  due to the "robustness" of id's serial drivers. QuickModem would have
  35.  degraded the playspeed. I'll do more work on this for v3.1 though...)
  36.  Working modem support is based on the settings in the MODEM.STR file
  37.  packed with the DOOM15BT.ZIP file (Required!)
  38.  
  39.  PWAD validation routines tell you, AT A GLANCE, just about everything you'd
  40.  want to know about a WAD before you play it. What levels they replace,
  41.  if there's additional, music, graphics, sounds, and if the PWAD supports
  42.  deathmatch. Select a WAD, and it will automatically adjust the
  43.  Episode/Mission to start you there.

  45.  DOOMLoad v3.0 now supports a dialing directory for up to 2500 of your
  46.  DOOM buddies (Oh Yes!!!), up to 3000 different modem strings, up to 
  47.  4000 PWADs all accessable by one touch alpha keys (OH YES!). Ie: Press "G"
  48.  and it will take you to the start of the G's, then press "Z" and it will 
  49.  take you to the start of the Z's...
  50.  
  51.  Also integrated is a LMP recorder/viewer which is fully supportive of DOOMs
  52.  multiplayer recording facility. Don't argue about who killed who with one
  53.  shotgun blast, capture the moment(s) and play them back for bragging 
  54.  rights!

  56.  You've used other DOOM Front ends, but now it's time to rediscover
  57.  DOOMLoad, the first, and quite possibly the best DOOM Front end around.
